Atomic-scale imaging data from an electrochemical study investigates the potential-dependent adsorption of two π-conjugated brominated molecules, PPr-4Br and DTPPr-4Br, on a gold surface. The dataset, authored by Rajendiran Balasaravanan and last updated in May 2026, includes results from in situ electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy and voltammetry. It demonstrates how electrode potential governs self-assembly through a competition between molecular mobility and substrate pinning.
