A 2026 study by the Australian Ocean Data Network investigates the potential impacts of marine seismic surveys on marine fauna. The project comprises six components: sound modelling, sound monitoring, benthic community assessment, bivalve assessment, fish avoidance behavior tracking, and fisheries catch data analysis. It was developed in response to stakeholder concerns about a seismic survey in the Gippsland Basin.
Primary data is not in a structured, tabular format; it is available as presentation materials (MP4 video, HTML). The underlying raw datasets from the six study components may not be included.
