A 2026 project from the Australian Ocean Data Network investigates the potential impacts of low-frequency sound from marine seismic surveys on marine fauna. The study includes six components: sound modelling, sound monitoring, benthic community assessment, bivalve assessment, fish avoidance behavior, and fisheries catch analysis. It was developed in response to stakeholder concerns about an April seismic survey in the Gippsland Basin.
File formats are MP4 and HTML, suggesting the dataset may primarily consist of presentation videos and web pages rather than raw data tables.
