Data from 50 sonobuoys were recorded over the Capel and Faust Basins, 800 km east of Australia, during a 2006 seismic survey for Geoscience Australia's Big New Oil programme. These data were interpreted and forward modelled by ray-tracing to estimate P-wave velocities in the upper sedimentary section and constrain sediment thickness. Gravity and magnetic anomaly data were also recorded, providing additional constraints for the velocity models.
Primary data format is HTML, which may contain embedded reports or links rather than raw numerical data tables.
