Seismic Sonobuoy Data from Capel and Faust Basins

Preliminary results from a 2006 marine seismic survey (GA302) conducted by Geoscience Australia. Data from 50 sonobuoys were recorded over the Capel and Faust Basins, 800 km east of Australia, in water depths of 1500-2000 meters. The dataset includes interpreted P-wave velocity estimates for sedimentary layers and accompanying gravity and magnetic anomaly data.
