Primary Land and Vegetation Inventory (PLVI): Forest and Parkland Vegetation in Alberta

PLVI is a photo-based digital inventory identifying vegetation type, extent, and conditions in Alberta's forested and parkland areas. It is produced for the Government of Alberta and covers areas north of the Grassland Vegetation Inventory (GVI) and where the Alberta Vegetation Inventory (AVI) is not warranted. The dataset uses ecological site phase as its main classification level, with polygons attributed with up to three phases.
