240 patients with locally advanced cervical cancer were analyzed to evaluate the impact of primary prophylaxis with pegylated G-CSF during concurrent chemoradiotherapy. The retrospective cohort study, authored by Qiang Du and posted in April 2026, compared an intervention group of 80 patients to a control group of 160 patients over a median follow-up of 53.5 months. It measured outcomes including severe neutropenia rates, treatment interruptions, chemotherapy completion, and survival.
