2000-2002 data from the Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods (PHDCN) Longitudinal Cohort Study. This wave of the Physical Development Scale is a self-report measure used to ascertain pubertal status for children in three age cohorts. The study was led by Felton J. Earls of Harvard University and followed over 6,000 randomly selected children, adolescents, and young adults.
