Description
Over 6,000 children, adolescents, and young adults were randomly selected for the Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods (PHDCN) Longitudinal Cohort Study. This dataset contains responses from Cohorts 9 and 12 to the 'Things I Can Do If I Try' self-efficacy survey during Wave 3, collected between 2000 and 2002. The survey instrument, developed by Felton J. Earls of Harvard University, assesses efficacy in five domains: future, school, neighborhood, home, and social.
