Ari Jumpponen's study tests the pyrodiversity-biodiversity hypothesis for soil fungi using pre- and post-fire data from three fuel load manipulations. The 62.8 KB dataset likely contains measurements of soil abiotic properties and fungal community metrics across five different vegetation contexts. Results show increased heterogeneity in labile soil resources post-fire, but limited evidence for pyrodiversity-associated increases in fungal richness.
