Description
Head-related transfer function data for nine rabbits is stored in a MATLAB file. The dataset includes rabbit ID, sex, age, weight, headbar status, and HRTF magnitude, interaural level difference, and interaural time difference spectra across frequencies and source locations. The data was contributed by Mitchell Day and is available via paperswithcode.
Use Cases
Modeling spatial hearing in rabbits based on HRTF magnitude spectrum data.
Analyzing interaural level differences (ILD) across frequencies and source locations.
Studying interaural time differences (ITD) in the front horizontal plane.
Investigating the relationship between rabbit physical characteristics (age, weight) and acoustic transfer functions.
Strengths
Contains data for nine individual rabbits, providing a sample for analysis.
Includes three distinct spectral data types: HRTF magnitude, ILD, and ITD.
Source locations are sampled at 15-degree steps from 90 degrees left to 90 degrees right.
Limitations
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Last update date is unknown; freshness unverified.
Provenance

Collection Method
Likely experimental measurements from rabbits.
Data is stored in a MATLAB (.mat) file format, which requires compatible software for access.
