Description
Physician-reported data for 1,622 patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC) from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The dataset captures real-world treatment patterns, including the use of platinum-based chemotherapy, avelumab, and enfortumab vedotin, between December 2023 and May 2024. It was authored by Maria De Santis and shared under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
Use Cases
Analyze the real-world uptake of avelumab maintenance therapy based on the reported 14% usage rate.
Compare first-line treatment patterns across five European countries based on the physician survey data.
Investigate the low adoption rate of enfortumab vedotin plus pembrolizumab as first-line therapy based on the reported 2% usage.
Model patient progression to second-line therapies based on the reported 19% of patients receiving second-line treatment.
Strengths
Includes data for 1,622 patients, providing a substantial sample size for analysis.
Captures a specific and recent time period (December 2023 to May 2024), reflecting contemporary treatment patterns.
Provides detailed, physician-reported treatment percentages for multiple therapy lines and specific drugs.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
Data may reflect geographic bias inherent to the five surveyed European countries.
