Browse Basin Cretaceous Petroleum Systems Analysis

Geoscience Australia conducted a multi-disciplinary study of the Browse Basin's hydrocarbon prospectivity. The analysis integrated updated biostratigraphy, well logs, seismic geometry, and geochemical data for seven Cretaceous supersequences. It identified three main stratigraphic play types and four Mesozoic petroleum systems.
