A cross-sectional study from 2026 includes 33 children aged 4 to 7 years, comprising 16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and 17 typically developing peers. It was authored by Ayşe Tuba Ceyhun and examines visual attention during language tasks using eye-tracking indices like target looking proportion and fixation duration. Findings suggest less efficient visual attention is associated with receptive language difficulties in children with ASD.
