A study by Hana Dalila Fernandes investigated recycling ether-amines from iron ore flotation wastewater. The research achieved approximately 95% and 90% removal of ether-amines using Angelim sawdust and sugar cane bagasse, respectively, with adsorptive capacities of 4.2 and 2.7 mg.g-1. Thermodynamic studies indicated the process with sawdust was favorable and exothermic, and desorption tests showed the possibility of regaining around 80% of the ether-amines.
