Redmap is a community science project managed by the Australian Ocean Data Network, inviting public sightings of uncommon marine species along Tasmanian coasts. Sightings include species, location, date/time, and optional biological and environmental data, categorized as verified (with photo) or anecdotal. The data is live and mapped to track changes in species distributions over time.
Data is live and changing; a citable, static dataset with accurate spatial elements may require contacting the Point of Contact.
