NOAA GNOME modeled hindcast of particles of oil reaching the shoreline from the May 19, 2015 pipeline rupture near Refugio State Beach, California. The dataset represents an estimated 21,000 gallons of oil that flowed into the Pacific Ocean. It was created by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for investigating environmental impacts and determining restoration needs.
