Regional Management Units (RMUs) is a polygonal dataset delineating areas of repeating landform patterns in the Victorian Mallee. The dataset was created by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action from projects conducted between 2008 and 2011, disaggregating land systems originally defined in 1963. Each RMU is attributed with relative wind erosion susceptibility and is embedded within the Victorian Geomorphological Framework.
Data is provided in multiple geospatial formats (TAB, MIF, GDB, SHP, DWG, DXF). Users should refer to the final project reports and the 1963 Rowan and Downes report for detailed analysis.
