6000 years B.P. to the present, this dataset details relative sea level fall and coastal progradation in northeastern Spencer Gulf, South Australia. It was constructed by the Australian Ocean Data Network using precise elevation measurements of beach ridges and sea-grass deposits, combined with 14C dating of mollusc shells and other materials. The data shows a sequence of sea-level events from a highstand around 6000-4000 years B.P. to a continued fall in the last 2000 years.
