Global Ecoregion Protected Areas and Policy Analysis, 1992–2020

1992–2020 geospatial data on 846 ecoregions worldwide, combined with measures of anti-protection interests. The dataset was created by Austin Beacham to analyze the relationship between international environmental agreements and subnational land protection patterns. It supports research on the effectiveness of international regimes and local economic pressures on conservation.
