Description
A 4-month active intervention with 2-month follow-up from a cluster randomized clinical trial conducted in a senior high school in Guangzhou, China. The dataset contains 15,615 person-night observations from 386 adolescents aged 14-19 years, collected via wrist-worn accelerometry and self-report questionnaires. It was authored by Ma, Rui Si and deposited in Harvard Dataverse.
Use Cases
Reproduce published analyses on the effect of exercise snacking on sleep onset regularity based on nightly accelerometer-derived sleep data.
Analyze the relationship between daily step count and psychological well-being measures (DASS-21, WHO-5) across multiple assessment windows.
Model the impact of demographic and socioeconomic covariates on sleep duration and physical activity outcomes in an adolescent population.
Study the design and analysis considerations specific to a 2-arm parallel-group cluster randomized trial in a school setting.
