Description
Data from contour method cut surfaces of two low alloy steel plates clad in stainless steel, extracted from a nuclear steam generator. The plates measure 300 mm x 200 mm x 20 mm and are forged from 18MND5 steel, with one clad in a single layer of AISI 309L and the other in a double layer of 309L and 308L. The dataset, authored by M.J. Roy from the University of Manchester, consists of x, y, z coordinate lists and .mat files from analyses, supporting research on underclad cracking.
