Goldak Airborne Surveys conducted an aeromagnetic survey of the Dawson area from February 17 to March 21, 2014. The data were collected using split-beam cesium vapour magnetometers mounted on two Piper Navajo aircraft. Nominal traverse and control line spacings were 400 and 1400 meters, with a nominal terrain clearance of 125 meters.
