14461 storage tanks were identified across 92 typical Chinese cities with high volatile organic compound emissions in 2021. The inventory was created by the Chinese Academy of Sciences using high-resolution imagery from GaoFen-1, GaoFen-2, GaoFen-6, and Ziyuan satellites. It provides detailed distribution locations and boundaries of storage tanks to support pollution control and energy management regulations.
