A 1986 global emissions distribution for CFC-11 is provided as percentage values per gridsquare, calculated by combining production time series with release functions. The distribution method uses national GDP fractions and population data from Harvard University, and the authors state it can be applied to the years 1980 to 1990. The dataset is based on the methodology from McCulloch et al. (2001) and is presented by the SCIOPS organization.
Absolute emissions must be calculated by multiplying the global emission value (from a separate table) by the provided gridsquare percentages.
