Romania Risk Assessment Indicators: Admin Level 2 Flood and Demographic Data

HeiGIT produced this dataset in 2026 to provide risk assessment indicators for Romania at the admin level 2 (district) scale. It aggregates demographic, infrastructure, and accessibility data from WorldPop and OpenStreetMap specifically for flood hazard analysis across seven thematic layers.

Use Cases

• Flood resilience mapping using access_pop_hospitals_30min to identify districts with high medical isolation during disasters
• Vulnerability assessment by correlating elderly and children_u5 populations with flood_exposure indicators
