The RaDR-GFP mouse model from MIT enables in vivo detection of homologous recombination events across mammalian tissues. Data includes comparisons among 11 tissues, showing recombination frequency varies by over two orders of magnitude, with the brain having the lowest rate. The model also tracks how recombination events accumulate with age in the colon and measures the impact of alkylating agent exposure.
