Description
OSIRIS Narrow Angle Camera image data from the Rosetta spacecraft's EXTENSION 3 mission phase, covering the period from 2016-08-09 to 2016-09-02. The dataset contains solar stray light corrected, radiometric calibrated, and geometric distortion corrected image data in reflectance units. This version V1.0 is the first version of this dataset, corrected after an October 2018 external peer review.
Use Cases
Analyze comet surface reflectance properties based on calibrated reflectance units
Study geometric features of comet 67P based on distortion-corrected image data
Model solar illumination effects on comet surfaces based on stray-light-corrected images
Track temporal changes on comet 67P's surface based on data from a specific mission phase
Strengths
Data is corrected for solar stray light, radiometric calibration, and geometric distortion
Coverage spans a specific mission phase from 2016-08-09T23:25:00.000 to 2016-09-02T06:39:59.000
Dataset is version V1.0, corrected after an October 2018 external peer review
