Description
OSIRIS Narrow Angle Camera images of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, radiometrically calibrated and geometrically corrected to reflectance units. The dataset covers observations from September 26 to October 1, 2016, produced by NASA. This version V1.0 is the first release following an external peer review.
Use Cases
Analyze comet surface albedo and reflectance properties based on radiometric calibration
Study geometric features and morphology of comet 67P based on distortion-corrected images
Monitor temporal changes on the comet's surface during the specified mission phase
Strengths
Data is radiometrically calibrated and geometrically distortion-corrected
Coverage spans a specific mission phase from 2016-09-26T06:40:00.000 to 2016-10-01T00:00:00.000
Dataset version V1.0 indicates a reviewed and corrected release
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment
