Description
Corrected and resampled raw data from the RPCICA instrument aboard the ROSETTA spacecraft during its flyby of asteroid Lutetia. The dataset has been processed for cross-talk and noise, resulting in values in counts that may include negative numbers. NASA produced this data, which was last updated on March 13, 2026.
Use Cases
Analyze instrument noise characteristics based on the described noise treatment and negative value allowance
Study cross-talk correction algorithms based on the automatic correction mentioned in the description
Compare corrected data in counts to physical unit data based on the mention of the L4 CORR dataset
Strengths
Data has been corrected for cross-talk using an automated algorithm
Noise has been treated to be even regardless of onward noise suppression
Limitations
The RPC-ICA instrument suffered an overheating event and did not obtain any measurements of value
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment
