Elite Orienteering Route Choice Efficiency with GPS Tracking from 20 Events

12,605 leg-level observations from 20 elite orienteering events were collected from the Livelox GPS tracking platform. The data includes split times, distances, and derived route choice efficiency metrics for 676 unique athletes across 8 European countries.
