RV Investigator Multibeam Sonar Data for Seafloor Mapping, Tasmania 2021

12.2 GB of raw multibeam echosounder data collected during a 2021 calibration voyage of the RV Investigator. The Kongsberg EM710 MKII system acquired seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information east of Tasmania and around Freycinet Marine Park between November 20 and 28, 2021. Processed data grids are available in GeoTIFF format from CSIRO.

Use Cases

• Generate high-resolution seafloor bathymetry maps based on the processed GeoTIFF grids.
