Description
GLIDE Initiative provides GLIDE numbers, which are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters, to make disaster information interoperable across multiple sources. The dataset contains records for disaster events in Rwanda, each with a unique identifier. The data is used by organizations including UN-OCHA, UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, and the European Commission.

Link disaster reports from different sources based on the common GLIDE identifier.
Analyze disaster event frequency and location in Rwanda based on the geospatial data.
Build a unified disaster database by merging structured and textual sources using the GLIDE number.
