Over 2 million galaxies are detected in the COSMOS survey, which covers a 2 square degree equatorial field to probe galaxy formation across 75% of the age of the universe. The catalog contains photometric data at 160 microns from the Spitzer Space Telescope's MIPS instrument, as described by Frayer et al. (2009). The dataset is provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and was last updated in March 2026.
