SatCORPS CERES GEO Edition 4 GOES-11 Southern Hemisphere Version 1.0

GOES-11 satellite imager data processed hourly using Langley Research Center SatCORPS algorithms to derive cloud micro-physical and radiation properties over the Southern Hemisphere. The data set is arranged as hourly files in netCDF-4 format with observations at 4 km resolution (nadir), subsampled to 8 km. This product supports the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) project, a key Earth Observing System component.
