Global data on the estimated cost of satellite constellation Internet service as a percentage of GDP per capita plotted against the percentage of individuals with Internet access. The dataset and code were created by Meredith L. Rawls of the University of Washington to reproduce a research note figure. It classifies countries based on whether satellite Internet is affordable (costing less than 10% of GDP per capita) and needed (where less than 75% of the population has Internet access).
