SCANFI v2: Canadian Forest Maps at 30m Resolution, 1985-2025

SCANFI v2 provides 30-meter resolution raster maps of Canadian forests at 5-year intervals from 1985 to 2025. The product includes data on landcover type, forest canopy height, crown closure, aboveground tree biomass, and species composition. It was developed by Natural Resources Canada using Landsat imagery and a novel k-NN and random forest imputation method.
