120 patients over 45 with hip osteoarthritis pain were randomized to wear either stable supportive or flat flexible shoes for six months. Demographic, baseline, and follow-up data from the SCHIPP trial is available, including the primary outcome of change in average hip pain on walking. The data was published by MACH HeSANDA and corresponds to results accepted in Annals of Internal Medicine on 24/02/2026.
