One component layer of the Scottish wildness map quantifies landform ruggedness. The dataset uses a 1-256 scale to indicate relative levels of ruggedness, adapted from a 2008 study in the Cairngorms National Park. It is produced by the Government Digital Service and sourced from the EU Open Data platform.
Data is distributed in a ZIP file format; specific geospatial data format inside is unknown.
