A seabed mapping survey collected 1,154 square kilometres of multibeam sonar data and 340 line-km of sub-bottom profiles across four study areas in the eastern Joseph Bonaparte Gulf. Geological, geochemical, geophysical, and biological data were gathered from 63 stations to study late-Quaternary evolution and environment-biota relationships. The survey was conducted by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Institute of Marine Science, with data published via the Australian Ocean Data Network.
Data is presented in PDF and HTML reports, not in a structured, machine-readable tabular format; extraction may be necessary for analysis.
