Timor Sea Sediment Oxygen Demand Measurements for Seabed Mapping

Surveys in August-September 2009 and July-August 2010 collected sediment oxygen demand measurements from the upper 2 cm of seabed sediments in the eastern Joseph Bonaparte Gulf. The dataset was produced by Geoscience Australia in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Marine Science and other research bodies to support biophysical mapping and environmental management. It aims to inform sustainable resource use and identify geohazards and sensitive environments related to offshore infrastructure.
