Seafloor Imagery from the Totten Region in East Antarctica

Over 3000 square kilometers of Antarctic seafloor were imaged during the NBP14-02 expedition from January to March 2014. The Australian Ocean Data Network provides digital still images captured with a 10.2-megapixel camera system deployed from the RVIB Nathaniel B Palmer. These images have been analyzed for seafloor habitat classification.

Use Cases

• Classify seafloor habitats from 10.2-megapixel still images using computer vision models.
