A 2026 dataset from the Australian Ocean Data Network maps seamounts and elevated seabed features within and near the Australian Exclusive Economic Zone. It was created by cross-referencing multiple data sources, including the GEBCO 2023 global terrain model and high-resolution bathymetry from the AusSeabed portal, to improve upon previous coarse inventories.
