Seascapes for the Australian Margin and Adjacent Seabed

13 distinct seascapes were derived for the Australian continental shelf and nine for deeper regions using unsupervised classification. The Australian Ocean Data Network produced this layer of ecologically meaningful biophysical variables to represent potential seabed habitats. Its ecological significance is assessed at national, regional, and local scales using existing biological data.
