2FHL: Fermi-LAT Catalog of 360 Sources Above 50 GeV

NASA's Fermi-Large Area Telescope detected 360 sources in the 50 GeV to 2 TeV energy range using 80 months of data. The catalog, produced by the Fermi Science Support Center, provides precise localizations and associations for high-energy astrophysical objects. This work, first ingested by the HEASARC in September 2015, bridges observations between GeV and very-high-energy telescopes.

Use Cases

• Identify candidate sources for follow-up observations by Cherenkov telescopes based on the 75% of sources not previously detected at very high energies.
