The Surat Basin in Australia contains six sedimentary cycles, each hundreds of metres thick, from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The cycles are described as resulting from global sea-level oscillations, with depositional environments ranging from braided streams to shallow marine settings. This dataset is provided by the Australian Ocean Data Network and was last updated in April 2026.
Data is in PDF and HTML formats, not a structured tabular file.
