Deep-Sea Sediment Core Analyses from Southwest Victoria and Tasmania

Three research cruises between 1985 and 1988 collected 135 sediment cores off the coasts of southwest Victoria and Tasmania. The Bureau of Mineral Resources (BMR) laboratory work provides grain size, calcium carbonate (CaCO3), and total organic carbon (TOC) analyses for a subset of these cores. This data aims to model sedimentation on the continental margin for interpreting older geological sequences.
