South West Australia Marine Sediment and Geomorphology Spatial Analysis

Geoscience Australia synthesized sedimentology and geomorphology data for the South West Planning Region. The analysis used quantitative carbonate and grainsize data from surficial seabed sediment samples, with results reported in a format for regional marine planning. This work was conducted under an MOU with the Department of Environment and Heritage's National Oceans Office.
