800 Sentinel-2 scenes were processed to create this false-color mosaic for Paraíba State, Brazil. The mosaic was generated by INPE's Health Information Investigation Laboratory using a Least Cloud Cover First compositing method over a three-month period. It was developed to support a COVID-19 social and health indicator observatory platform.
Use Cases
- Analyzing land cover changes based on false-color composition using MSI bands 8, 4, and 3
- Monitoring regional environmental conditions for public health research based on the dataset's stated purpose
- Assessing cloud cover and image clarity using the Least Cloud Cover First temporal compositing approach
Strengths
- Comprises more than 800 Sentinel-2 scenes
- Has a spatial resolution of 10 meters
- Covers a specific three-month temporal window from November 2019 to January 2020
Limitations
- Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download
- Last updated 2020-01-31 00:00:00.999000; freshness should be verified
- Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment
