sf: Simple Features for Spatial Vector Data in R

An R package providing support for the Simple Features standard to encode and analyze spatial vector data. It binds to GDAL for reading and writing data, GEOS for geometrical operations, and PROJ for projection conversions. The package uses the s2 package by default for geometry operations on geodetic coordinates.
